Abstrak

Tourism has an important role in advancing a country, tourism can support the foreign exchange of a country and can help the economic welfare of the community around the tourist attraction. The purpose of designing information systems tourist attraction of this web based padang city is to promote and introduce the tourist attraction of the city of padang, where the design of tourist information system information using HTML programming language and navigation structure, and dreamweaver as a medium in writting coding, making the contents of a website based system focused on thhe provision of information pertaining to the attrsctions of the city of padang. Sistem based information website consist of pages containing information about the profile of the city of padang, beach tours page, natural tourist page, hotel and some other supporting pages in the web based tourist information system. With the information system of urban tourism object based on this website is expected to meet the needs of tourists or users will information attractions of the city of padang, but it can also be used as a media promotion of padang city attractions.
