Perbandingan Prestasi Belajar Mahasiswa Lulusan SMA dan SMK Pada Prodi S1 Teknik Informatika dan Komputer Universitas Bung Hatta Padang.

Abstrak

This study aims to see how far the comparison of learning achievement between high school graduate students and graduate students of SMK in the department of PTIK - University of Bung Hatta Padang. The hypothesis proposed in this research is there is a significant difference between the achievement of high school graduate student with graduate student of SMK in Prodi S1 of Informatics and Computer Engineering Education. The research method used is descriptive research. The type of research used is a comparative study (comperative study), which compares the achievement of learning between students who come from high school graduates with students who come from SMK. Then performed a quantitative analysis of the collected data. In this study known comparison of learning achievement between high school graduate students with graduate students SMK Department of PTIK - University of Bung Hatta Padang. From the data processing based on Chi-Square Tests, using the help of spss version 15, got the significance value of 0.322> 0.05, thus 〖H〗 _ (1) received, there is a difference in the frequency of student achievement graduate high school and vocational school in Prodi S1 Education Informatics and Computer techniques. The results of data analysis showed student achievement is influenced by differences in curriculum obtained during high school or vocational school.
