PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA SISWA KELAS IV SDN 09 SURAU GADANG PADANG

Abstract
This study aims to describe students 'learning outcomes by applying Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning models, describing students' science learning outcomes by applying conventional learning, describing differences in science learning outcomes among students in applying Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning models with Learning outcomes of science students with conventional learning. Learning models is a that emphasizes the full process of student involvement in order to find the material learned and relate it to real life situations. The type of this research is experimental research. The population of this research is all students of class IV SDN 09 Surau Gadang Padang year lesson 2016/2017. A total of 42 students were selected as samples determined by random sampling technique. The data analyzed in this research is the score of science learning outcomes of the cognitive domain collected through objective test. The results showed that there were significant differences in the students 'learning outcomes between the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model and the students' learning outcomes of the conventional teaching application. This can be seen from the average acquisition of the experimental class is higher than the average gain of the control class (experiment = 80.22 > control = 76.00) and the hypothesis test results using the t-test, with  greater than  (  = 2.10>  = 1.68). So it can be concluded, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model has an effect on the result of science learning of fourth grade students of SDN 09 Surau Gadang Padang. Looking at the results of this study by applying Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model influences the learning outcomes of science learning and needs to be applied and developed in order to achieve optimal learning outcomes.
