PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISIONS (STAD) DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA SISWA KELAS V SDN 10 SURAU GADANG PADANG

This study aims to describe students 'learning outcomes by applying Student Teams Achievemnt Divisions (STAD) learning model, Describing the students' learning outcomes by applying conventional learning, Describing differences in science learning outcomes between students applying STAD learning model with the learning outcomes of students who apply science Conventional learning. This type of research is experimental research. The population of this study is all students of class V SDN 10 Surau Gadang Padang Academic Year 2016/2017 as many as 47 students. The sampling technique is done by purposive sampling, to determine the experimental class and control class seen in the lowest grade average, the experimental class is the VB class and the control class is V A. The data in this research is obtained by giving the final test in both sample class . The results showed that, there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of science students between the application of STAD learning model with the results of science learning students using conventional learning. This can be seen from the average acquisition of experimental class grade 86.53 and control class 80. And the result of hypothesis test using t-test with = 2.22 and ) = 1.67 (>). So it can be concluded that learning science with Student Teams Achievemnt Divisions (STAD) learning model has an effect on student learning result of class V SDN 10 Surau Gadang Padang. Based on the results of this study, researchers suggest that teachers can use the Student Teams Achievemnt Divisions (STAD) model in learning to improve student learning outcomes.
