PENGARUH MODEL TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS IV SDN 09 SURAU GADANG PADANG

This study aims to describe the results of learning mathematics students learning using Teams Games Tournament model is better than the results of learning mathematics students learning using conventional learning class IV SDN 09 Surau Gadang Padang. The type of this research is experimental research with the population in this study is all students of grade IV SD 09 Surau Gadang Padang consisting of three classes. The sample in this research is the class of IVA as much 22 people as experiment class and class IVB as many as 20 people as control class. Hypothesis testing is done by t-test, because the data is normally distributed and the variance is homogeneous. The final test result shows the average grade of Math students in the experimental class 80,22 and the average value in control class 76 with statistical test level (α = 0,05) obtainedmean >, then hypothesis accepted. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that the results of learning mathematics students learning using Teams Games Tournament model is better than the results of learning mathematics students of class IV SDN 09 Surau Gadang Padang learning using conventional learning at 95% confidence level.
