Abstrak

ABSTRACT

 

This study aims to see the difference between IPA learning outcomes between conventional learning using Team Quiz learning model in science learning in grade IV SDN 21 Sungai Bangek Kecamatan Koto Tangah Padang. Type This research is experimental research with population in this study all students of class IV SDN 21 Sungai Bangek Kecamatan Koto Tangah Padang. Sampling in this research was done by total sampling technique while to determine the experimental class and control class was done by looking at the IPA test of semester I, so that the grade IV B as the experimental class and class IV A as the control class. The observed learning outcome is the cognitive domain seen from the final test of the study. The data in this research is final test then processed by t test. From result of data analysis by using t test, obtained titung that is 3,81. When compared with the ttable is 2.01 then tcount> ttable (α 0.05), thus the hypothesis used in the study is accepted. In this research, it can be concluded that the students' learning outcomes using Team Quiz model showed higher experiment class outcomes than the control class learning outcomes, where the cognitive domain learning outcomes in the experimental class (79.25 average), control class (Average 69.44). Therefore it is expected that the classroom teachers can use the Team Quiz model as one of the models in science learning in all elementary school level students.
