Abstrak

ABSTRACT

 

This research is motivated by the low writing skill of fourth graders in learning Indonesian language. The purpose of this research is to know whether the use of complete sentence model can improve the writing skill of students in completing the pantun. The type of this research is classroom action research with students of SDN 02 Kototinggi which amounts to 20 students.  The instrument of this research is observation sheet of writing skill and test sheet of student learning result. Based on observation sheet of writing skill and test sheet of student learning result. Retrieved average writing skills of students in completing the sentence in the poem on the first cycle of 20%, while in the second cycle of 80%. Based on students' test results showed that the average writing skills of students in the first cycle an average of 66.15 and 75.35 the second cycle. From the improvement of research result in cycle I and cycle II mean the target of learning achievement in this research is successful and the implementation of Indonesian learning with complete sentence model goes well. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that teachers can use the complete sentence model to improve students' writing skills in learning Indonesian.
