Abstrak

ABSTRACT

This study aims to compare the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics learning model applying Index Card Match with the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics learning applying the conventional learning method. Population in this research is student of class V SD Negeri 23 Lubuk Alung Padang Pariaman which consist of two class that is class of VA and VB with sampling technique used is Total Sampling. Based on the results of the research can be found out the results of study both classes of research samples after hypothesis testing using chi squared with db = 1 located between=  3,84 Then get itp < 0,05 means rejected andbe accepted. Based on the results of the study can be concluded that the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics learning model applying Index Card Match is higher than the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics learning applying the conventional learning method. The authors provide advice to the reader in order to apply the learning model of Index Card Match on the learning process with a good stage of implementation so that learning outcomes can increase.
