PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA MELALUI MODEL MAKE A MATCH DI SDN 17 MUARA TAIKAKO

Abstrak

This study aims to describe the improvement of science learning outcomes of fourth grade students SDN 17 Muara Taikako Sikakap District Kepulawan Mentawai by using the model of Make A Match learning. The subjects of the study were the fourth grade students of SDN 17 Muara Taikako, which amounted to 19 students. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) conducted in two cycles. The instances used were teacher activity observation sheets, affective domain assessment (non-test) and cognitive domain assessment (test). Based on the results of cognitive assessment of the knowledge and understanding of students cycle I with a percentage of 52.6% completeness and 65.8 average, increased in cycle II with 84.2% mastery and 83.8 average. Assessment of affective spheres in the ability of responsibility and cooperation of students cycle I with an average of 60.5% increased in cycle II with an average of 74.3%. Based on the results of research can be concluded that in science learning through the make-Match learning model can improve student learning outcomes of class IV in SDN 17 Muara Taikako Sikakap District Kepulawan Mentawai Regency. Therefore, it is suggested in Teacher Science lesson can use Make A Match model in SD class.
