PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ROLE PLAYING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA SISWA KELAS V SDN 31 PS.AMBACANG KURANJI PADANG

This study aims to determine differences in cognitive and affective learning outcomes of IPA students by applying role playing model with conventional method in class V SDN 31 Ps.Ambacang Kuranji Padang. This research type is experiment. The place of research in SDN 31 Ps.Ambacang Kuranji Padang with the number of research samples there are two classes of students class V A and V B with the number of students 44 students. Determination of sample class using total sampling. Determination of experimental class and control class using random sampling. Data collected in the form of students' IPA learning outcomes. Data collection techniques in this study using the test. The test used is objective, and continued with the t-test. The results showed that the results of cognitive aspects of learning IPA, the average in the experimental class that is equal to 86.96 and the control class that is 80.24. Hypothesis testing using t-test shows tcount> ttable with tcount of 2,98 and ttable value equal to 1,68 at significant level significant 0,05. The learning result of affective aspect of science class of experiment and control class with grade average is 77,09 and 73,86. Hypothesis testing using t-test shows tcount> ttable with tcount value 2.02 and ttable value equal to 1.68 at significant level significant 0,05. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the cognitive and affective aspects of the IPA learning of the experimental class and control class by using the Role Playing learning model.
