This study aims to describe the effect of learning outcomes of Mathematics students learning using make a match model better than the result of learning mathematics students learning using conventional learning class V SD Sabbihisma 01 Padang. The type of this research is experimental research with population in this study is all students of class V SD Sabbihisma 01 Padang which amounted to 86 students. Hypothesis test is done by t-test, because the data is normally distributed and homogeneous variance. From result of data analysis by using t test, obtained t_hitung that is 2,233. When compared with t_tabel is 2,006 then t_hitung>t_tabel (α 0,05), thus hypothesis used in this research accepted. In this research, it can be concluded that the result of mathematics learning by using make a match learning model shows positive result, because the learning result in experiment class is higher than the learning result in the control class, where the cognitive domain learning result in the experimental class (average 86 , 1034), control class (average 81,1481). So it can be applied for the achievement of optimal results on student learning outcomes. Therefore it is expected that the classroom teachers can use the make-match learning model, as one of the models in the learning of mathematics in all elementary school students.
