Learning Result of IPS Student of Class V in SDN 23 Lubuk Alung
The aim of this research is to know the effect of Teams Games Tournament
(TGT) model on the learning result of IPS student of class V in SDN 23 Lubuk
Alung on cognitive level of knowledge (C1) and understanding (C2). Instruments
in this study is a test of student learning outcomes. Technique of data analysis by
using t-test. The final test result in both classes of samples is normally distributed
and has a homogeneous variance so that t-test is used for hypothesis testing where

count is compared with ttable
with dk 41 at the level of trust α = 0,05
obtained t
table = 1,68 and tcount = 1, 97. This means tcount> ttable
where 1.97> 1.68
thus H1 is accepted. Based on the data analysis it can be seen that the
experimental class students who were treated by applying Teams Games
Tournament (TGT) learning model better the learning outcome with the average
of 78.04 than the control class with the average of 72,75 which apply
conventional learning. For that it is suggested to IPS teachers to be able to use
Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model to improve student learning
outcomes.
