Abstrak

This research is motivated because 50% of student learning outcomes do not reach the minimum mastery criteria and the material taught using lecture method. The purpose of this study to see the effect of the application of student learning outcomes that use cooperative learning model Course Review Horay type in grade IV mathematics students SDN 43 Sungai Sapih Kecamatan Kuranji Padang City. The type of this research is experimental research. The data used is quantitative data obtained from final test scores on simple space building materials. Then the primary data in this study are students of class IV and secondary data are classroom teachers, principals and staff and documentation, archives, records relating to research problems. From the test data about the reliability value obtained = 0.41 with the criteria are. And result of t-test is obtained >, it can be concluded that the result of learning mathematics of student using model of Course of Riview Horay is better than result of learning of student mathematics that use conventional learning in class student IV SDN 43 Sungai Sapih Kecamatan Kuranji Padang City. So it is expected that future researchers or teachers who teach to use innovative learning, so that learning outcomes increase and the learning process is more active in students and fun.
