PENERAPANMODELSTUDENT FACILITATOR AND EXPLAINING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA SISWA KELAS V SD N 10 SUNGAI SAPIH KEC. KURANJI KOTA PADANG

Abstrak

This study aims to determine differences in the application of Student Facilitator and Explaining model with conventional method in class V SDN 10 Sapih River kec. Kuranji Kota Padang. The type of this research is experimental research with design "Randomized control group posttest only design" population in this study is all students of class V SDN 10 Sungai Sapih Kec.Kuranji Kota Padang, amounting to 149 students. Sample In this research is taken by purposive sampling, experiment class selection and control done by random obtained class VB as Experiment and class VD as control. Hypothesis testing is done by t-test, because the data is normally distributed and the variance is homogeneous. The cognitive learning outcomes of the knowledge aspect show the average score of the students by using the Student Facilitator and Explaining 81.32 learning model and the 64.4 grade control student learning outcomes with the statistical test t_hitung = 3.83> t_tabel = 1.66 means, then H_ (1) received H_ (0) rejected. The cognitive learning outcomes of the comprehension aspect showed the average score of the students using the Student Facilitator and Explaining 83.15 learning model and the students' learning outcomes of the control class 65,5 with t_hitung 3.80> t_tabel = 1.66, then H_ (1) received H_ (0) rejected. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that there are differences in cognitive learning outcomes by using model student facilitator and explaining by using conventional learning.
