APPLICATION OF REWARD AND PUNISHMENT METHOD IN CIVIL LEARNING TO LEARNING RESULT IN CLASS VPUBLIC ALEMENTARY SCHOOL29 DADOK TUNGGUL HITAM PADANG
Abstrak
This study aims to compare the students' cognitive and affective learning outcomes between students using the reward and punishment method with conventional learning in grade V SDN 29 Dadok Tunggul Hitam Padang. The type of this research is experimental research. Determination of sample class using saturated sampling. The determination of experimental class and control class using random sampling. The data collected in the form of student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques in this study using the test. The test used is objective test Data analysis performed using t-test. The results can be seen that, the experimental class has the average learning outcomes of cognitive aspects of student PKn that is equal to 85.96 and the control class is 75.55. Hypothesis testing using t-test shows tcount> ttable, with value with tcount equal to 3,27 and ttable value equal to 1,67 at significant level significant 0,05. The learning result of affective aspect of Civics of experimental class and control class with experiment class average score is 80,96 and control class 58,11. Hypothesis testing using t-test shows tcount> ttable, with tcount of 8,55 and ttable value equal to 1,67 at significant level 0,05. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that there are significant differences in learning outcomes of cognitive and affective aspects of Civics students class experiments and control classes. This means that the learning outcomes of cognitive and affective aspects of Civics students by applying reward and punishment learning methods is better than learning using conventional learning.
