PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V DI SD SABBIHISMA II PADANG

Abstrak

This study aims to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning model on the learning outcomes of IPS students of class V At SD Sabbihisma II Padang academic year 2016/2017. The type of research here is in the form of experiment. The independent variable in this research is all students of SD Sabbihisma II Padang having two classes each. Sample in this research is student of class V SD Sabbihisma II Padang, that is taken using purposive sampling technique. The data collected in the form of students' IPS learning outcomes. Data collection techniques in this study using tests, in the form of objective questions, testers use hypothesis testing in this study which preceded by prerequisite analysis test using normality test and homogeneity test. The results showed that there is a positive and significant effect of Problem Based Learning model on cognitive learning outcomes of IPS students of grade V SD Sabbihisma II Padang. This is evidenced from the results of t-test with a significant level of 0.05 obtained thitug 2.39> ttable 1.68. IPS cognitive learning outcomes obtained by the experimental group is higher than the control group, shown from the average of 83.5 experiments and the average obtained by the control group of 75.6. Then it can be concluded the use of Model Problem Based Learning Influential on Student IPS Learning Outcomes In Class V SD Sabbihisma II Padang Academic Year 2016/2017.
