Stiil low result of learning indonesian language of student is often caused by less effective student learning activity which is dominated bt teacher as source of information. Thus affecting the low learning outcomes of IV grade on learning Indonesian language in the IV Grade Indonesian Language Learning of SD Negeri 11 Rawang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. To overcome the problem, one of the efforts that can be done is to use index card match learning model.With the learning by using the learning model Index Card Match is expected students can share knowledge and information with friends, so it can be motivated in learning activities. This type of research is categorized as experimental research. The population in this study is this is the fourth grader of SD Negeri 11 Rawang, Sutera sub-district, Pesisir Selatan District, academic year 2016/2017 consisting of two classes. For sampling is done by looking at the values of both classes, namely class IV A and IV B, selected class IV A as experimental class and IV B as control class. The instrument of this study using the test results of learning. To test the hypothesis used the test of average difference with the t-test formula. From the analysis results obtained = 1,87 and = 1,67 At a real level of 0.05. Evidently  > , it means the hypothesis is accepted. So it can be concluded that the results of learning Indonesian by using the model of learning Card Index Match is better than the result of learning Indonesian by using the method of teaching lectures on fourth graders in SD Negeri 11 Rawang Sutera Subdistrict Pesisir Selatan Regency. Based on the results of this study, the authors suggest that teachers can use the learning model of Index Card Match so as to improve student learning outcomes.
