Abstrak

This research is in the background by the problem of the low influence of interpersonal communication of class VIII in SMP N 1 Pariangan on the subject of Information and Communication Technology. The purpose of this study to determine the magnitude of the interpersonal communication of teachers and students to the students' learning activities on the subjects of ICT students class VIII SMP N 1 Pariangan. The type of this research is descriptive research that is correlational. The research population is 47 people and the sample is 22 students of class VIII.1 and VIII.2 SMP N 1 Pariangan academic year 2016/2017. Data of influence of interpersonal communication of teacher and student is collected through questionnaire by using likert scale which has been tested its validity and reliability. Then the data were analyzed using statistics with the help of SPSS version 17 for the correlation and regression analysis. The result of data analysis shows that the influence of interpersonal communication of teacher and student to learning activity is 46,64%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the influence of interpersonal communication of teachers and students to students' learning activities.
