PENINGKATAN HASILBELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODELDEBATEDI SDN 15 KOTO GADANG
Abstrak
This research is motivated by teachers at the time of dominant learning using lecture method, so that the result of IPS student learning not yet as expected. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of students' understanding and affective aspects of fourth grade students in the IPS lesson about historical heritage and heroism through the Debate model at SDN 15 Koto Gadang. This type of research is a classroom action research. The research instrument is in the form of teacher activity observation sheet, test result sheet, observation sheet of student affective assessment. The subjects of this study are students of class IV which amounted to 20 students. The results of the research in two cycles showed an increase in IPS learning outcomes through the Debate model. Affective aspect of cooperation in cycle I is obtained on average that is 66,6 in cycle 1 meeting to 1 and meeting 2 with average 74,9 and increase in cycle II meeting to 1 79.9 and meeting to 2 with average 84 , 9. While the test akir cycle 1 obtained an average of 64.7 increases in cycle II 77.2. And the results of the research can be prepared that the Debate model can improve student learning outcomes IPS class IV. Researchers suggest that teachers can choose and use appropriate learning models in teaching, among them can use the Debate model to improve IPS learning outcomes.
