Hubungan peranan Orang Tua Terhadap Hasil Belajar Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Talang
Abstrak
This research is in the background by the problem of low learning result of class VIII students at SMP N 1 Gunung Talang on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) subject. The purpose of this study to analyze the magnitude of the influence of the role of parents to the learning outcomes of ICT students grade VIII SMP N 1 Gunung Talang. The type of this research is descriptive research that is correlational. The study population is 162 people and the sample is 64 students of class VIII.1 and VIII3 SMP N 1 Gunung talang academic year 2016/2017. Data on learning outcomes obtained from test results that researchers have made based on the RPP of class ICT teachers VIII. This data is a reflection of student learning outcomes in ICT subjects. While data of parent role collected through questionnaire by using likert scale which has been tested its validity and reliability. Then the data was analyzed using statistics with the help of SPSS version 16 for the correlation and regression analysis. The result of data analysis shows that the role of parents have correlation to result of learning equal to 47,6%. Based on the results of research, it can be concluded the role of parents have a relationship to student learning outcomes.
