ABSTRACK

 

The purpose of this study is to see differences in student learning outcomes by using STAD learning model and student learning outcomes by using conventional learning. The type of this research is Experimental Research. The population of this study is all students of class V SDN 01 Barung-Barung Belantai as many as 42 students. To determine the experimental and control classes were randomly selected and obtained the experimental Va class and Vb control. The data in this study was obtained by giving the final test in both classes. The results showed that, there is a significant difference in the student's learning outcomes between the influence of STAD learning model with student learning outcomes by using conventional learning. This can be seen from the average acquisition of 89.76 experimental class Cn grade and control class 77,38. Hypothesis test is done by t-test with tcal = 7.91 and ttable = 1.68 where t_hitung> t_tabel means 7.91> 1.68 thus hypothesis H1 is acceptable. So it can be concluded that the application of STAD learning model in the learning of Civics affect the results of students learning class V in SDN 01 Barung-Barung Belantai. Based on the result of this research, the researcher suggest that the homeroom teacher of SDN 01 Barung-Barung Belantai can apply STAD learning model in Civics learning, because it is seen that this model can give a positive impact.
