Abstrak

This research begins from the low learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 02 Gadung Surian, Solok District, in Mathematics learning. The students' mathematics score is under the minimum completeness set by the school that is 70. The formulation of this research problem is how is the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes with the model of Cooperative Learning type Make A Match on the fourth grade students of SDN 02 Gadung? The purpose of this study is to describe that the model of Cooperative Learning type Make A Match can improve learning outcomes of math students grade IV SDN 02 Gadung. This type of research is a classroom action research. The study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subject of this research is the fourth grade students of SDN 02 Gadung Surian of Solok Regency, which amounts to 18 people. Instrument of this research is test result of student learning. The results of each cycle study increased. In the first cycle, the percentage of students' learning achievement is 55.5% and the average score is 66.66 students. In cycle II, the percentage of students' learning achievement is 83.3% and the average score is 73.25. Based on the percentage of mastery and the average value of the students concluded model Cooperative Learning type Make A Match can improve student learning outcomes in learning Mathematics.From the results of this study the authors suggest teachers to apply the model of Cooperative Learning type learning Make A Match in learning Mathematics well and adapted to the material.
