ABSTRACT

 

The purpose of this study is to describe the students' learning outcomes on learning Civics using Think Pair and Share models and conventional models. This type of research is experimental research, carried out in two sample classes. The VA class is the control class and the VB class becomes experiment class. The data of this study were obtained by giving the final test in both classes. Based on the results of research indicate that there is difference of final result. This is seen from the acquisition of the experimental grade of 87.38 and control class 81.19. The result of hypothesis test using t-test with tcount = 3.85 and ttable = 1.68 where thitung˃ttabel means 3,85˃1,68 thus hypothesis H1 acceptable. So it can be concluded that the influence of Thing Pair and Share model in learning Civics have a better effect on the results of the students of class V in SDN 03 Pancung Soal Inderapura. Based on the results of the research, researchers suggest that teachers can use Thing Pair and Share models in learning to improve student learning outcomes.
