PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DI KELAS I PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL TALKING STICK DI SD NEGERI 34 SIMPANG HARU PADANG

Abstrak

This research aims to describe the improvement of learning outcomes of class I students in IPS learning using Talking Stick model in SD Negeri 34 Simpang Haru Padang. The subjects of this study are the students of class I SD Negeri 34 Simpang Haru Padang amounting to 25 students. This type of research is a classroom action research. This study was conducted in two cycles, the first cycle consisted of 2 meetings, while the second cycle consisted of 1 meeting. Every end of the meeting students are given evaluation of learning outcomes. The results showed that, students' learning outcomes from the affective aspect of the average value of 76.5 in cycle I with the percentage of 76% completeness increased to 81 with 92% completeness percentage in cycle II with good criteria to be very good. In the cognitive aspect, the average value of cycle I is 77.6 with a complete 68%, increased in cycle II to 81.2 with 96% completeness. This means that the target indicators in this study were achieved. This research can be concluded that Talking Stick model can improve student learning outcome of class I cognitive and affective aspects on social studies subjects in SD Negeri 34 Simpang Haru Padang.
