ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to describe differences in student learning outcomes with the application of Plantet Question learning model and learning outcomes with the application of conventional learning. The type of this research is Experimental Research. The population of this study is all students of class V SDN 16 Surau Gadang Padang Academic Year 2016/2017 as many as 42 students. To determine the experimental class and the control class are taken in saturation sampling. The data in this study were obtained by giving the final test to the two sample classes. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the students 'learning outcomes between the application of the Plantet Question learning model and the students' learning outcomes using conventional learning. This can be seen from the average acquisition of 79.04 experimental class science grade and 77.38 control class. Hypothesis test using t-test with tcount = 3.24 and ttable = 1.68 where t_hitung> t_table means 3.24> 1.68 thus hypothesis H1 is acceptable. So it can be concluded there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of science class V students in SDN 16 Surau Gadang Padang applying the model of learning Plantet Question by applying the conventional learning model. Therefore, it is expected that teachers can use the Plantet Question learning model as one of the learning models.
