PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS IV DI SD NEGERI 54 ANAK AIR PADANG

Abstrak

This study aims to describe differences in learning outcomes of cognitive and affective
aspects of IPA students by applying Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model with
conventional method in class IV SDN 54 Anak Air Padang. The type of research is
experimental research. Place of study in SDN 54 Anak Air Padang with the number of
research sample there are two classes that is student class IV A and IV B with number of
student 60 student. Determination of sample class using purposive sampling. Determination of
experimental class and control class using random sampling. Analyze technique using t-test.
The results showed that the cognitive aspect learning outcomes of the average IPA in the
experimental class is 86.45 and the control class is 74.83. Hypothesis testing using t-test
shows thitung> ttable, with tcount value 3,72 and ttable value equal to 1,68 at significant level
significant 0,05. The learning outcomes of the affective aspects of experimental class and
control class with experimental grade grade were 75.83 and 70.63. Hypothesis testing using ttest
shows thitung> ttable, with tcount value 3,72 and ttable value equal to 1,68 at significant
level significant 0,05. Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that there is a
significant difference between the cognitive and affective aspects of science learning of the
experimental class students and the control class by using the contextual teaching and learning
model of Contextual Teaching and Learning Contextual Teaching and Learning.
