COMPARISON OF CARRY LEARNING RESULTS USING NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER MODEL WITH CONVENTIONAL LEARNING IN CLASS V SDN 38 LUBUK BUAYA PADANG
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This study aims to compare the students' cognitive and affective learning outcomes between students using the Model Numbered Heads Together with conventional learning in grade V SDN 38 Lubuk Buaya Padang. The theory used as the supporting data of this research by Susanto include This research type is experimental research. The population in this study is the students of grade V SDN 38 Lubuk Buaya which consists of two classes. Determination of sample using purposive sampling technique. The study sample was VB class as experiment class and VA class as control class. In general, the procedures in this study consist of the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the completion stage. Instruments in this study are the final test and student affective observation sheet. The final test used is an objective test. Data analysis is done using t test. Based on data analysis obtained from t-test shows tcount> ttable, with tcount of 3.08 and ttable value equal to 1.67 at significant level significant 0,05. Encourage the learning outcomes of the students' affective aspects of the students using the t-test shows tcount> ttable, with the tcount of 11.5 and the ttable value of 1.68 at the significant significant level of 0.05. The difference in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class is due to the difference in the treatment given. In the experimental class using the Numbered Heads Together model, it appears that the students are eager to receive learning and more actively in the learning process. While in the control class by using conventional learning, students are seen less passionate and passive in learning. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that there are significant differences in learning outcomes of cognitive and affective aspects of Civics students class experiments and control classes. This means that learning outcomes of cognitive and affective aspects of Civics students using the model of learning Numbered Heads Together better compared with conventional learning.
