Abstrak

This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of index card match strategy on student activity in answering questions, student activity in hearing teacher explains the material and activity of student interest in learning. The type of research used is experiment. The instrument used is an observation sheet. And data analysis technique used is product moment correlation analysis and hypothesis test with t test. The results of this study indicate the activity of answering questions with criteria of testing based on the level of significance (0.05) and dk (55-2) = 53 then tcount = 0.794 and ttable = 0.266. This means tcount>ttable where 0.794>0.266 H1 is accepted. The listening activity of the teacher explains the material by testing criteria based on the level of significance (0.05) and dk (55-2) = 53 then tcount = 0.167 and ttable = 0.266. This means tcount<ttable where 0,167 <0,266. H1 is rejected. And activity of student interest in learning with testing criterion based on level of significance (0,05) and dk (55-2) = 53 then tcount = 0,109 and ttable = 0,266. This meanstcount<ttable where 0,109 <0, 266. H1 is rejected. So it can be concluded that index card match strategy can only affect student activity in answering questions.
