Abstract

This study aims to determine the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics students who apply learning model of cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Divisions higher than the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics learning applying conventional learning in fourth grade students SDN 09 Air Pacah. The hypothesis in this study is the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics learning model applying cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Divisions higher than the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics learning applying conventional model in fourth grade students SDN 09 Air Pacah. The population in this research is the fourth grader of SDN 09Air Pacah in the 2016/2017 learning year consisting of 3 classes. The samples were taken using a randomly selected Simple Random Sampling technique. Class IV B as experiment class and class IV C as control class. The learning result data was obtained by giving the final test on the two sample classes consisting of 25 objective items. To test the hypothesis using the formula 2 obtained 2count = 4.47 and table = 3.84 so that the probability value (p) given for db = 1 is obtained (0.02) <p <(0.05) or 0.01 <p <0.025 because p <0.05 means Ho is rejected and H1 accepted. This means the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics learning applying the model of Cooperative Learning Type Student Teams Achievement Division is higher than the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics that apply conventional learning.
