ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cooperative learning model Jigsaw on the learning outcomes of Citizenship Education students of class V SD Negeri 08 Surau Gadang. This type of research is experimental research. Sampling technique using purpose sampling. Data collection techniques use multiple-choice tests about the materials of joint decision forms. The instrument of this research is obtained through correlation coefficient, Reliability K-R 21, distinguishing power and difficulty index. This research shows that the mean of experiment class final test is 89,23, while control class is 82,98. The result of analysis shows that the value of t_count> t_tabel is 2.60 ˃ 1.67, at the real level α = 0,05 t_count> t_tabel means H_1 accepted and H_0 rejected. Learning using Jigsaw Cooperative model has an effect on the learning outcomes of Civics Education of grade V students of SD Negeri 08 Surau Gadang Undergraduate Year 2016/2017.
