PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL MIND MAPPING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV DI SDN 27 SUNGAI SAPIH PADANG

Abstrak

This research is backgrounded by, less active students and students less able to understand the concept given by the teacher. This study aims to find out differences in learning outcomes of Indonesian students using Mind Mapping learning model with conventional methods and to find out the learning result of Indonesian students on cognitive aspect. The theory used in this research is the theory put forward by Susanto (2014) about learning Indonesian language and Mind Mapping learning model proposed by Shoimin (2014). The type of this research is experimental research. The population of this study is all students of class IV SDN 27 Sungai Sapih Padang, amounting to 49 people. The sample in this research is class IVA as control class and class IVB as experiment class. Hypothesis testing is done by t-test, because the data is normally distributed and the variance is homogeneous. The final test result shows the average grade of Indonesian fourth graders in SDN 27 Sungai Sapih Padang, using Mind Mapping model with the average value of the experimental class 84.8 and the average value of Control class 78,54 with statistical test level (Α = 0.05) obtained t_hitung 1.79 and t_ (table) 1.68 means t_hount> from t_ (table), then hypothesis H_1 accepted. Based on the results of this study can be concluded the results of learning Indonesian language using Mind Mapping learning model is better than the results of learning using Conventional learning on reading material loud an announcement with pronunciation and intonation right in class IV in SDN 27 Sungai Sapih Padang.
