PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM CENTERED LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA SISWA KELAS V SDN 30 AIR DINGIN PADANG

Abstrak

This research is based on the less active students in the learning process, the students pay less attention to the teacher when explaining the learning, the tendency of teachers in using the lecture method, the result of student learning is still much below KKM. This study aims to describe differences in learning outcomes of Indonesian students taught with Problem Centered Learning model with students taught by conventional learning methods. Tarigan (2008: 16), explains that speaking is the ability to express articulation sounds or words to express, express or convey thoughts, ideas, and feelings. Ramayulis (in Istarani, 2011: 38) states Problem Centered Learning (problem solving) is a learning model in which learners are expected in a problematic condition .. This research type is experimental research with the population is all students of grade V in SDN 30 Air Dingin Padang Which amounted to 55 students. Data analysis used normality test, homogeneity test, and mean difference test (t-test). The research design used is Randomized Control Group Posttst Only Design and got the VA class as control class and VB class as experiment class. Hypothesis testing is done by t-test, because the data is normally distributed and the variance is homogeneous. The final test result shows the average grade of Indonesian V grade students in SDN 30 Air Dingin Padang, using Problem Centered Learning model with the average grade of experimental 81,8 and the average of control class 76,9 with test level Statistic (α = 0,05) in getting tcount = 1,74 and ttable = 1,68 mean tcount> ttable, hence hypothesis H1 accepted. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the learning result of Indonesian language using Problem Centered Learning model is better than the learning result that uses conventional learning on the material factual problem in class V in SDN 30 Air Dingin Padang.
