The purpose of this research is to improve student activity and mathematics learning outcomes of students through cooperative learning model type Snowbal Throwing. The result of student's mathematics learning increased after using cooperative learning model of Snowbal Throwing. This study consists of two cycles. The research instrument used is obsevation sheet of student activity and test result of student learning. The results showed that the percentage of students who have learning completeness in the first cycle is 55% increased to 75% in cycle II. The average value in cycle I was 58.5 increased to 77 in cycle II. The use of cooperative learning model of Snowbal Throwing type can increase the visible activity from the average percentage of student activity in cycle I is 52% increase to 68,5% in cycle II. It was concluded that the learning of the mathematics especially about the topics of the properties of wake up and wake up space through cooperative learning model of Snowbal Throwing type can increase student activity and learning outcomes. It is recommended that teachers consider the use of this model
