ABSTRACT
This research is backgrounded by teachers are less skilled to create an atmosphere that is able to facilitate learners so as to develop the potential of students maximally, ultimately the results obtained less satisfactory learning. In the implementation of the learning process teachers are more likely to use the lecture method so as to cause saturation in students and the lack of enthusiasm of students in learning Bahasa Indonesia.Tujuan this study to describe the influence of learning outcomes Indonesian students write poetry through Contextual Teaching and Learning model with the application of conventional learning in class V SDN 38 Lubuk Buaya, Padang Lesson 2016/2017. The theory used as a supporter of this research data by Dalman explained that writing is a communication activity in the form of delivery of messages (information) in writing to other parties by using written language as a tool or media. Writing activity involves several elements, namely: Authors as the delivery of messages, content, channels or media, and readers. Writing is a creative process of pouring ideas in the form of written language in purpose, for example telling, reassuring, or entertaining. The result of this creative process can be called by essay writing or writing. Both terms refer to the same results even though there are opinions that say the two terms have different meanings. The term of writing often attaches itself to a scientific-like creative process. The research method used is experimental method. Population in this research is all student / student of class V counted 66 people, sample selection technique use saturated sampling. In this case the experimental class is the Va class while the class Vb becomes the control class. The instrument used is a test of learning outcomes. Data analysis is done by the following steps: (1) Determine test of normality of final test, (2) Determine homogeneity test, and (3) Determine test hypothesis. The results showed that Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model has the average of 83.42 learning outcomes, and students using conventional learning have average learning outcomes of 75.92. And hypothesis test result of t-test show thitung> ttable, with tcount value 3,89 and ttable value equal to 1,67 at significant level 0,05. Then it can be concluded that there is influence of learning model Contextual Teaching and Learning to poetry writing skill of class V student SDN 38 Lubuk Buaya, District Koto Tangah Padang year lesson 2016/2017.
