The purpose of this study is to prove that the results of learning Civics students learning using cooperative learning model type of team quiz better than the results of learning Civics students learning using conventional learning in class V SDN 09 Air Pacah Padang year lesson 2016/2017. The type of research used is experimental research. Population in this research is all student / student of class V SDN 09 Air Pacah which amounts 72 people. The sample selection technique used random sampling. The experimental class is VA class amounted to 26 people while the control class that is VB class is 21 people. The research instrument used is the test of learning result. Data analysis was done by nomality test, homogeneity variance test, and hypetosis test by using microsoft office excel 2007. In this study result, the students whose learning using cooperative learning model of team quiz type obtained the average of 81,23 learning outcomes and the students whose learning using Conventional learning obtained average learning outcome 75,80 and result of hypothesis test obtained t_ (count) = 2,194 and t_ (table) = 2.015. So t_ (count)> t_ (table) So it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students who use the lesson learning model cooperative learning type of team quiz better than student learning outcomes of learning using conventional learning in class V SDN 09 Air Pacah Padang.
