 This study aims to prove that the results of student learning Civics learning using cooperative learning model type Assisted Individually Team is better than student learning outcomes of learning using conventional learning in students of class V SD Sabbihisma 1 Padang year of learning 2016/2017. Type of research used is experiment. The population in this study were all students of grade V SD Sabbihisma 1 Padang, sampling technique using random sampling, and selected experimental class that is class VC while VA control class. In this study, the instrument used is a test of learning outcomes. Data analysis was performed by t test of nomality, homogeneity, and hypetosis. The result of the research of the students using cooperative learning model of Team Assisted Individually have the average of 83.58 learning outcomes and the students using conventional learning has average learning outcome of 77.6 and the result of hypothesis test is tct = 3.25 and ttable = 2,003 . This means thitung> ttable, where 3,25> 2,003 thus can be concludedThe result of learning Civics of students of grade V SD Sabbihisma 1 Padang year lesson 2016/2017 that learning using cooperative learning model type Assisted Individually Team is better than learning outcomes that use learning Conventional in grade V SD Sabbihisma 1 Padang.
