This study aims to prove that the results of learning Civics students learning using active learning strategy type practice rehearsal pairs better than the results of learning Civics students learning using conventional learning in class IV Sabbihisma Elementary School I Padang 2016/2017 academic year. The type of research used is experimental research. Population in this research is all student / student class IV SD Sabbihisma I Padang amount 80 student. The sample selection technique used random sampling. The experimental class is class IVA while the control class is IVC class. In this study, the instrument used is a test of learning outcomes. Data analysis was performed by nomality test, homogeneity variance test, and hypetosis test by using t test. In the results of this study, students whose learning using active learning model practice type rehearsal pairs obtained the average of 83.11 learning outcomes and students whose learning using conventional learning obtained an average learning outcome of 77.92 and the results of the hypothesis test obtained thitung = 2.276 and Ttable = 2,008. So thitung> ttabel Then it can be concluded that the results of learning Civics students learning using active learning strategy type practice rehearsal pairs better than student learning outcomes that learning using conventional learning in class IV SD Sabbhisma I Padang.
