ABSTRACT 

 

The purpose of this study is to describe student learning outcomes in learning Civics using Probbing Prompting model and conventional model. This type of research is experimental research, carried out in two sample classes. Class IV-A is used as experiment class for 24 students using Probbing Prompting model and class IV-B is used as control class for 19 students using conventional model. The data of this study were obtained by giving final test to the two Sample classes. The sample used in this research is Sampling Purposive. Based on the results showed that there are significant differences in final test results. This is seen from the acquisition of the average value of the experimental class 81.4 and the control class 52.1 and the hypothesis test results using the t-test with t_ (count = 9,91 and 〖t〗 _ (table = 1.68) where) T_hitung <t_table which means Ho is rejected and H1 accepted by using Probbing Prompting model affect the results of learning Civics fourth grade students SDN 20 Lubuk Alung Lesson 2016/2017.
