Abstrak

This research is based on the low learning motivation of VIII students in SMP Angkasa Lanud Padang in the subject of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship of school environment with student learning motivation in the subjects of ICT class VIII in SMP Angkasa Lanud Padang. The type of this research is descriptive research that is correlational. The study population amounted to 99 people. The sample is 69 students of class VIII.1. And VIII.2 SMP Angkasa Lanud Padang Lesson Year 2015/2016. Sampling technique is random sampling. The research instrument used from the questionnaire. While the school environment data and learning motivation are collected through questionnaire by using Likert scale that has been tested the validity and reliability. Then the data were analyzed using statistics with the help of SPSS version 17 for analyzed correlation and regression. The result of data analysis shows that the school environment contributes to the learning motivation of 23.81%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the school environment is positively related to student learning motivation.
