PENERAPAN TEKNIK PEMBELAJARAN SPOTLIGHT DENGAN KARTU PANGGILAN PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VII SMPN 12 PADANG
Abstrak
SUMMARY
This research is based by most of MID value of even semester of mathematics student of class VII SMPN 12 Padang year lesson 2016/2017 still under KKM. There are factors that cause low student learning outcomes that most students do not pay attention to the explanation of teachers during the learning process and the activity of students in the learning process is still lacking. One way that can be used to overcome this problem is to use Spotlight learning techniques with calling cards on learning mathematics students VII SMPN 12 Padang.
The purpose of this study to determine the results of learning mathematics students learning using spotlight learning techniques with call cards compared with the results of learning mathematics students using ordinary learning in students of class VII SMPN 12 Padang. The hypothesis put forward in this research is the result of mathematics learning of students applying spotlight learning techniques with calling cards better than the mathematics learning outcomes of students applying regular learning in grade VII SMPN 12 Padang.
The type of research is experiment. The population in the study were all students of class VII SMPN 12 Padang year lesson 2016/2017. The study sample was VII.5 as the experimental class and VII.6 as the control class.
Based on the analysis of the final mathematical test data in both sample classes are normal distribution and homogeneous variation. After done data processing with minitab software obtained P = 0,015 < 0,05 at 95% confidence level. Thus H0 hypothesis is rejected so that it can be concluded that the results of mathematics learning students applying Spotlight techniques with calling cards is better than the mathematics learning outcomes of students applying regular learning in grade VII SMPN 12 Padang.
Based on the results of the study, it is suggested that teachers of mathematics study at SMPN 12 Padang can applying Spotlight learning techniques with calling cards in mathematics learning as an alternative to improve mathematics learning outcomes.
