ANALISIS KESALAHAN SISWA KELAS VIII DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL-SOAL KUBUS DAN BALOK DI SMPN 10 PADANG

Abstrak

SUMMARY

This research is motivated by the number of students who make mistakes in solving cube and block problems. In addition, the semester grades obtained by students of class VIII SMP Negeri 10 Padang 2016/2017 lessons under the KKM. It is necessary to analyze the mistakes made by the students and illustrate the factors that cause students to make mistakes. The purpose of this study is to find out what percentage errors of concept and principle of students of class VIII SMPN 10 Padang in solving the problem of cubes and beams and find out the factors that cause students of grade VIII SMPN 10 Padang to make mistakes in solving the problem of cubes and beams.

This research type is descriptive research and use qualitative research method. The research population is all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 10 Padang. Sampling using purposive sampling technique and elected class VIII.G as sample research with 36 students. The research instrument is a test and interview guide sheet. The test given is a description test. This test is used to see the percentage of errors made by students, and the interview guide sheet is used to describe the factors that cause students to make mistakes in solving cube and block problems. The results of this study indicate that: 154 error errors (73.33%) and Error principle there are 56 errors (26.67%) Factors that cause students to make mistakes in solving cube and block problems are: environmental factors, instrumental, physiological conditions and conditions psychological.
