PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA SISWA KELAS V DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA MELALUI MODEL MODELLING THE WAY DI SDN 03 KAMPUNG OLO PADANG
Abstrak
Class V research at SDN 03 Kampung Olo Padang. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of reading class V students. The theory used to observe the data is the theory of reading proposed by the taringan, while the theory of istrani describes the model of learning model Modeling The Way. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects of this study were the students of grade V SDN 03 Kampung Olo, which amounted to 18 students. The research instrument used in this research is observation sheet of students reading ability, observation sheet of teacher activity, and test of student learning result. Based on the results of the research, it is known that the reading ability of 52.5% students in the first cycle increased to 76% in cycle II, the activity of teacher activity 66.5% in the first cycle increased to 89.5% in silus II, and student learning outcomes from 55 % In cycle I increased to 77% in cycle II. The results of this study can be concluded that in the implementation of Indonesian language learning through Modeling The Way model in SDN 03 Kampung Olo can improve students' reading ability. Based on the results of this study researchers suggest teachers can apply Modeling The Way model.
