Abstrak

The purpose of this study is to determine the magnitude of the influence provided by the professionalism of teachers and learning facilities on student achievement subjects of information technology and computer students of class VIII SMPN 2 District Luhak, Lima Puluh Kota. The type of this research is descriptive correlation. The population of this study is 91 students. In the sampling used in the form of questionnaires (questionnaires) and learning achievement. Questionnaires were used to collect data on teacher professionalism and learning achievement. Student achievement data obtained from the subject teachers of Informatics and computer and data influence the professionalism of teachers and learning facilities obtained from the questionnaire dispersion using Likert scale. Data management is done by using statistic method with SPSS version 16 software. Based on the research, the following results are obtained: (1) the influence of teacher professionalism on student achievement of 24.9% (2) learning facilities on student achievement of 40%. (3) the influence of teacher performance and student's satisfaction on student achievement together equal to 48,740%. So it can be concluded if the teacher has a professionalism and supported by good learning facilities then it can improve and affect student achievement in school.
