THE EFFECT OF EXAMPLE NON EXAMPLE LEARNING MODEL OF THE RESULT OF STUDENT LEARNING OF CLASS III AT SDN 17 BATU GADANG INDARUANG PADANG

Abstrak

Education is a process in order to influence learners to be able to adapt as well as possible to their environment, thereby creating a change in itself to function actively in the lives of people. Hamalik (2014: 3). School is a formal institution that has responsibility and authority in implementing school education with its curriculum containing subjects Social Studies and some other subjects require teachers' creativity in determining and using models involving students in the learning process, but based on observations and interviews in SDN 17 Batu Gadang obtained information that the learning is still centered on the teacher by using three methods of lecturing, question and answer and giving the task, the less effective learning so that the effort done by researchers in overcoming the problem is applying the model of learning Example Non Example in the learning process of IPS.
The type of research used is experimental research with the population of this study is all students SDN 17 Batu Gadang Indarung Padang year lesson 2017/2018. While the sample of this study is the third grade students SDN 17 Batu Gadang as many as 50 students divided into 2 classes namely class III A and class III B, using the technique of Simple Random Sampling obtained class III A as a control class and class III B as a class experiment. The data analyzed in this research is the score of learning result of IPS student of cognitive domain collected through objective test.
The result of data analysis with hypothesis test using t-test is obtained tcount = 2,396 and ttabel = 2.012. So, thitung> ttable. Hence the hypothesis H1 accepted which means that there is influence of learning model Example Non Example on learning outcomes IPS class III students In SDN 17 Batu Gadang Indarung Padang.
Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that there is influence of learning model of Example Non Example to the learning result of IPS student of class III In SDN 17 Batu Gadang Indarung Padang, so that model can be applied to achieve optimal IPS learning result in the school.
