Learning outcomes have an important role in the learning process. For that teachers have to design and choose a model of learning that can affect student learning outcomes for the better. One of the learning model that is expected to influence student learning outcomes to be better is the learning model Problem Centered Learning. According to Imamah, (2015: 184) Problem, centered learning is one of the learning models that in teaching and learning activities can stimulate students to improve problem-solving abilities through a series of exploration and discussion activities

The research method used is experiment. Population in this research is all student / student of class IV counted 57 people. Sample selection technique using Random Sampling. To determine the experimental class and control class is done in a random way so as to obtain the IVB class as the experimental class and the class IVA as the control class. In this study, the instrument used is a test instrument. Data analysis was performed by normality test, homogeneity, and hypothesis with the help of SPSS Version 20.

This study aims to prove whether the results of science learning students using Prablem Centered Learning Model better than the results of science learning students whose learning applying conventional learning in class IV SDN 29 Dadok Tunggul Hitam. The results showed that the learning outcomes of science in the experimental class were 84.44 and the control class was 73.46. Hypothesis Testing From the result of calculation of the equality of variance using test levenes it seems that the value of sig = 0.190> 0.05 so H1 accepted means the assumption of equality of variance is fulfilled.

So it can be concluded that there are differences in science learning outcomes between conventional models with Problem Centered Learning model in class IV SDN 29 Dadok Tunggul. Looking at the results of IPA study using Problem Centered Learning model gives better result than conventional learning model, then the teacher can use this learning model in the learning process in the future.
