Development of Snake Game Media Ladder on Mathematics Subjects Building Flat Class V SD Negeri 06 Cindakir Kecamatan Bungus Kota Padang

Abstrak

The background of this research is the result of learning mathematics still under Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteria (KKM). This study aims to develop a game media snake ladder on the subject mathematics of building flat. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the validity of the development of game media snake ladder on the subjects of mathematics materials wake up flat class V SD Negeri 06 Cindakir Kecamatan Bungus Teluk Kabung Padang City ?. The theory used in this research is the theory of instructional media proposed by Uno (2011), the ladder snake game theory proposed by Husna (2009) and Cahyo (2011), and the mathematical theory put forward by Abidin (2017).

This type of research is Research and Development (R & D) research. The subjects of the study were students of class V with a total of 20 students. Instument of this research is a questionnaire consisting of questionnaire assessment of material experts, media experts and student responses.

Based on the results of validation by the material experts get a percentage score of 92% including the category of "very good". The results of validation by media experts get a percentage score of 95% including the category of "very good". Results Assessments by students during implementation trials are included in the "very feasible" category with a 94% percentage.

So based on the results of validity, the development of game media snake ladder on the subject of mathematics of the class of  V SD N 06 Cindakir Kecamatan Bungus Teluk Kabung Padang is very feasible to use. Suggestion from this research that is instructional media game of snake ladder in mathematics lesson worth considering as one media that can be used in process of learning in class.
