Development of Management Information System Module on Study Program of PTIK-FKIP Bung Hatta University.

Abstrak

Based on the observations and formal interviews conducted on lecturers and students of Informatics and Computer Engineering Education Study Program or PTIK, especially in the Management Information System lecture, the students generally do not have sufficient teaching materials for conducive learning process, especially the printed materials . Printing materials used in lectures, have been given per face-to-face meetings and textbooks. The purpose of this research is to develop a valid, practical and effective module in the course of management information system in FKIP Bung Hatta University's.

 The research method used is research and development (Research and Development) or R & D from Sugiyono. The procedure of this module is said to be feasible, because in accordance with the theories that have been explained previously and the existing framework of thinking that is from design, production, to experiments from experts. Product trials have been conducted on students where previously conducted studies of material experts and media experts on the product.

Reviews of validity analysis, practicality and also the effectiveness of the development of management information system module that researchers can from validators (experts) and students. Until it produces values for validity and test of practicality and effectiveness.

From the results of research can be concluded that the module management information system that has been developed can be said to have been good. Based on the results of the validation by the experts then obtained an average of 94%. From the result of questionnaires, it gets an average of 83,4%, and at effectiveness questioner equal to 80,5%.
