Application of TREFFINGER Model in Learning of Information and Communication Technology of Grade VII Student of SMPN 11 Sijunjung

Abstrak

At the time of on going learning the researcher observes the students, the lack of student confidence to convey his or her opinion. When the teacher explains the lesson there are still many students who fuss, pay less attention to the teacher and do other activities that are not related to ICT learning. In addition, students are also less understand about the subject matter in the given teacher so that learning is not achieved in accordance with the supposedly that is still a lot of daily test values are still below the standards.

The purpose of this research is; (1) To describe the learning result of ICT students who learn using the Treffinger model is better than the students' ICT learning outcomes using conventional methods in grade VII students at SMPN 11 Sijunjung; (2) To see the improvement of ICT learning outcomes students who learn using the Treffinger model is better than the ICT learning outcomes of students using conventional methods in grade VII students at SMPN 11 Sijunjung; The type of research used in this study is experimental with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design design. This research was conducted at SMPN 11 Sijunjung. Sampling technique in this study Simple Random Sampling. Research result. To measure normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis using SPSS Program version 16.Based on the results of research conducted in class VII SMPN 11 Sijunjung, shows the results of learning ICT on conventional learning the same as the Treffinger learning model. This is done the weakness of conventional learning that is learning activities centered on the teacher and the students only accept the material that the teacher based on the results of the learning result hypothesis by using Test-tear sig (2-tailed) 0.060> 0.05 then H0 accepted H1 rejected.

It can be concluded that students using the Treffinger learning model are the same as conventional concept. Treffinger learning model one of the models to improve student motivation to be adjusted in the final result of the discussion so that it can be an alternative that can be applied in the classroom.
