The Influence of Application of Cooperative Learning Model of Snowbal Throwing Type to Student Learning Outcomes of Class V at IPA Learning at SDN 03 Malepang Kecamatan Basa Ampek Balai Tapan

Abstrak

Education is an effort to build a fully qualified human as desired. Education among others can be pursued through the learning process. This learning process is the core of education as a whole. According to Susanto (2013: 167), Science Education or Science is the human effort in understanding the universe through proper observation of the objectives, and using the procedure, and explained by reasoning to get a conclusion.               Population in this research is all student of class V SDN 03 Malepang in academic year 2017/2018. The number of sample members in this study is 40 students with sampling technique using Total Sampling. Technique of collecting data in this research is by using test. The data required in this study is quantitative data obtained after the final test on the research object. Quantitative data is obtained from student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain level C1 (Knowledge), and C2 (understanding).               The results obtained showed that the results of the study were given in the form of the final test on the experimental class and control class with the average of 75.75 experimental class and the control class 75.25. Statistically the result of experiment class learning by using Snowball Throwing learning model. After the data analysis and hypothesis testing on learning outcomes, then obtained tcount <ttable where 0,097 <2,024. This means that the hypothesis in this study H0 accepted that there is no effect of the application of cooperative learning model type of Snowball Throwing to the learning outcomes of students of class V on science learning in SDN 03 Malepang Kecamatan Basa Ampek Balai Tapan. Thus it can be concluded that learning using Snowball Throwing learning model there is no effect of student learning outcomes.               Based on the results of research that has been done, it can be concluded that there is no influence of the use of learning model of Snowball Throwing on the learning outcomes of students of grade V on the cognitive aspect in SD Negeri 03 Malepang Kecamatan Basa Ampek Balai Tapan. In expecting to the homeroom to be able to apply a better learning model again, in order to improve student learning outcomes in science learning.
