Information System Library Design SMK Negeri 1 Hiliran Gumanti Using Programming Language PHP and Mysql

Abstrak

Information system at SMK N 1 Hiliran Gumanti current is still manual, its working system is still using the way of searching book or study other literature with down the field and pengerjutan data by hand writing. One effort or solution to overcome these problems is by Designing Information Systems Library SMK Negeri 1 Hiliran Gumanti Using Programming Language Php and Mysql through a study.

This research used is design research. The research design used is Waterfall method. Through this study the authors do the design by using the modeling tools unified Modeling Language (UML). UML used there are 3 (three) types of Use Case Diagram, Class Diagram and Activity Diagram. So that formed is a library information system that has 3 (three) users of the admin (school operations) leaders and members, and can be accessed with a web browser.

Based on the analysis of the Waterfall design method, this design resulted in a library information system that benefited the community SMK N 1 Hiliran Gumanti to ease students or teachers in library studies both in book searching, book lending, book return, and process input data and know the renewal other information. With the existence of this information system will help the performance of librarians and ease students in dealing with libraries.

Based on the findings of this research, it is concluded that the results of the design of information system library SMK N 1 Hiliran Gumanti is a web-based system, system design using programming language Hypertext Processor (PHP), HyperText Markup Language (HTML) Cascading style sheet (CSS) and MySQL as database . This system is designed to ease members to find data books according to the needs of each member. This system has 3 (Three) (User) that is Admin (System Manager), Principal (Recipient report), Member. (System users).
